Following on from yesterday's post of the old newspaper office. Inside the entrance are a number of ornately designed tiles, with four of them having faces on. I have no idea who they are & it doesn't say anywhere. I can only assume that they are of the original publishers of the newspaper.
it would be great if they really are the original publishers. the place tells the history!!
ReplyDeleteIt's very fine to see. Imagine the thought that went into deciding what to use to decorate the walls. I suppose the artist thought everyone would immediately recognize the faces.
