Touch Me and Buy
This sculpture shows some of the many things you can buy from Marks & Spencers. It is situated at the side of the store, so the only way you can see it is if you visit the small garden belonging to St Peter's Church.
We love M&S, but sadly they are no longer in Canada. Melton Mowbray pie and mince meat tarts were our favourite purchases. One time when I was in London on business I visited M&S on the Kensington High Street to buy something for my wife. On the plane home the flight attendent saw my M&S bag and asked what store and when I made my purchase. When I told her, she informed me that the store had been blown up by the IRA. I was in the store 30 minutes before it was bombed. Talk about a close call.
Thanks a lot for visiting and leaving a message. They are always welcome. Please mention my blog to all your friends and family and do pop by again very soon, as you will be made most welcome. Best wishes from Gailsman and Nottingham Daily Photo.
