There is Nothing Like a Dome

If you've ever wondered what the inside of the dome on top of the Council House looks like, then here's your answer. As you can see it is glass, but the interesting things are the painting and wording around it. It is difficult to take the whole thing, as it's quite a large expanse, and I didn't like the idea of laying on the ground to try and photograph it, so this is about the best I could do.

  1. and to continue . . . "Nothing in the world, There is nothing you can name, that is anything like this dome".

  2. Very disappointing to think that you wouldn't lie on the ground to take a good picture. Art is about sacrifices sometimes you know ;-)

Anyway, the dome is absolutely magnificent. You in GB have everything OZ doesn't have - such a rich history!
