Laid Out Like Lamb And Lettuce

Our little Oscar can always find somewhere to take it easy. And with this warm weather that we are currently getting, he obviously prefers to be outside.

So does Gail. And when I came home from work the other day, I found them both relaxing on the patio. Gail was sitting, eating an ice cream, while Oscar was stretched out on a large plastic box, where we store some of the garden tools.

He looked so comfortable and contented. So much so, that he didn't mind having his photo taken, yet again!

Sleepy Time

Our little Oscar. You must agree that he is so photogenic. I  just can't seem to stop taking photos of him. Especially when he's sleeping like a baby, and snoring quietly to himself.

Can I Come Too?

Sorry for the low quality and blurred image. Definitely not up to my usual standard, but I quickly had to grab my camera, as Gail called me into the living room.

You see we are currently in the middle of packing for our week long trip to Tuscany in Italy which starts tomorrow, and Oscar had this idea of wanting to come with us. He thought by trying to climb into one of our suitcases we wouldn't notice.  But he is quite a big fellow, and would certainly have made the suitcase overweight.

Posing Pussy

Today is apparently International Cat Day, and clearly Oscar is well aware of this, with the way he is relaxing on our garden seat. Laid out like lamb and lettuce, as the saying goes.

You may remember me telling you about Marmalade and how he had found a quiet little haven in the garage. Well now Oscar has found it as well, so it's a race as to who gets there first.

Sleeping Beauty

Since rearranging the furniture a bit in the living room, Oscar has found himself a new spot to relax and watch the world go by.

He has really taken sitting on the top of the sofa and looking out of the window. And when he's had enough, he just lays down and has a good forty winks. And yes, I've even heard him storing!

I think it really is a cats life, rather than a dogs, as both Oscar and Marmalade have it all; food on tap, a quiet house and comfy seats, beds and floors to relax on.

Let Sleeping Cats Sleep

Here's Oscar, the youngest of our two cats, being four. Marmalade will be ten in May.

Of course being a cat, Oscar likes two things in his easy life, namely eating and sleeping. So here he is sleeping, probably after one of his many visits to his bowls of food.

But who can blame him. When you don't have to go to work, cook dinner, dig the garden or all the other jobs that people have to do, what's better than taking a nap.

It's certainly something that both Oscar and Marmalade are good at. And it least they are quiet and you know that they are safe.

He likes his snoozes does Oscar, and of course loves being comfortable. And what could be more comfy than snuggling up to one's teddy bear?

I heard him snoring too. Not very loudly. Quite a cute little snore, while the end of his tail gently flicked from side to side, like he was conducting an orchestra.
