Don't Be Afraid Darling

There was an interesting little scene near the entrance to the Photography Show.

It was a reenactment of life in the 1940s. There was a Nissan Hut and a little garden scene, which I am showing here.

The people that take part are all fans of vintage, and really enjoy dressing up and pretending that they are living in that era. They call themselves 'Timeline Events'.

Of course they were attracting lots of attention from all the photographers that were coming in and they were all queuing up to take photos. The 'actors' were only too pleased to pose for everyone.

I caught them on the way out, when there weren't that many people around, which made it a lot easier to get the shot without having to dodge other people.

All You Need Is Love

Our new lights for the garden.

I had to wait until it became dark so I could switch them on.

Love under the stars.

Purrfect

Spotted this little sign at the market that took place today in the Old Market Square.

Gail and I have double love, as many of you know we have two cats called Oscar & Marmalade. I think they love us as much as we love them. Well they certainly love us when it's feeding time, as Oscar tends to sidle up to us and wrap himself round our legs, while Marmalade just sits down and stares up at me until I follow him into the kitchen.

Love Never Dies

March the 1st, and it's theme day in the world of the Daily Photo blogs.

This months theme is ageing. Of course we all get older by the second, but love never dies.

As proof of this, Gail bought me this rose for Valentine's Day. It's lasted well over the last two weeks, but sadly I had to put it in the compost bin, as it has aged and the petals were very dry and getting ready to fall off and make a bit of a mess.

Love

Today is of course Valentine's Day, where people show love for each other. Although this really should happen every day, and not just once a year.

Things were no different in the Frost household. Here's the card and friendly love dragon that I got for Gail. And of course there had to be a single red rose.

Love Is Sweet

Another shot from yesterday's wedding.

I really liked this idea of a 'pick n mix' sweetie corner. There were quite a few different sweets on offer. I had a couple of marshmallows, some liquorice allsorts and the very moreish Ferrero Rocher chocolates. Yum yum.
