Colourful Collection

The widow display at the Tolkenhouse gift shop on Bridalsmithgate is looking quite colourful at the moment with a display of various designs of wrapping paper, cards and gifts.

In The Days Before Television

Model shooting night tonight, and this time we had two models to play with; Nicole and Robert.

The scene tells the story of Robert, a soldier in the 1870s, who is spending the last hours with Nicole, his daughter or niece, before going off to fight in the Zulu war in Africa.

With no television to watch, people had to make their own entertainment in the past, so a simple game of cards in candlelight is in order, rather than singing happy songs on the piano, as they both know that this may be the last time that they will see each other again.
