This electrical business is on Canal Street, and is next to the building site which I showed a couple of weeks ago. I don't know if it is going to be knocked down as well. This would be a shame, as it's quite a well used business by both tradespeople & members of the public, and its a good example of Victorian architecture with lots of character.
A photo a day from the famous East Midlands city, its surroundings, and wherever the photographic journey takes me.

Another One Bites The Dust
Here's the latest victim of the demolition gang. Scheduled to be flattened sometime next week. It's located on the corner of Lincoln and Clumber Street and has been empty for some time. I don't know what will be going up in its place, but I'm sure with a bit of TLC and a lick of paint, this building would look better than anything they decide to put in its place.

Digging For Victory
There's quite a few building sites around the city centre at the moment, and here's a photo of the latest. It's on Castle Boulevard and is quite a large site. At this moment I have no idea of what will be erected. Maybe another hotel or office block, as it's a bit out of the way for shops. I will visit regularly to see what progress is being made. And for fans of heavy machinery, here's a view of a bulldozer getting down and dirty.
