Red And White, But Not Blue
St George's Day today and I popped down to the Old Market Square to see the traditional march from the Forest recreation ground.
As it tends to be the same thing every year, I struggled a bit to find something new to photograph. But thanks to Tracey, a professional photographer (weblink) friend of mine, who let me photograph these two appropriately dressed ladies who she had just taken a picture of.

Never Too Young For Rock And Roll
I know there's sadly controversy these days about photographing children in public, due to a few people spoiling it for others, but I just couldn't resist taking a shot of this rock god of the future.
Did John Bon Jovi's dad dress him like this when he was little I wonder, or Bryan Adams'? Either way, I'm sure this 'little dude' was having a great time at Beeston's carnival.

A Roaring Success

Well summer looks like it has finally arrived here in Nottingham, as it have been sunny nearly all week now, and may even last into the weekend.
So with all that sun, you may need a new pair of shades. And to tie in with the Jubilee celebrations and Olympics, you might like to sport these snazzy pair of Union Jack sunglasses.
They certainly look cool on the cuddly lion.
