A Proper Watering Hole

When people say they are going to the 'hole in the wall', they usually mean they are off to get some money from the ATM. But in this case it's the name of a city centre pub, on North Sherwood Street.

I've no idea why the pub is called what it is, as it's nowhere near any holes!

Today marks my 500th entry, so I'm inviting everyone in the blogging community over for a virtual drink on me.

Hello there, luv. I will have a pint of German ale.

Did I say that right? Probably not. Anyway. Thanks for the invite. I got to be careful how I use your watering hole term.

Love the addition to the building.

Hey, cheers! Well done on posting 500 photos!

How big is the pub? Is it really just a hole in the wall?

Thanks for visiting Norwich Daily Photo.

  7. I don't drink anymore as I consumed my total life quota before the age of 60, and now on doctors' orders.

So - I'll have a pint of draught Bass.

There's a "Hole in the Wall" in Liverpool, it's a Tetley's pub - if it's still there and if Tetley's still exists.
