Houndsgate today, and one of Subway's more smaller branches in the city. it is also one that is a bit out of the way & faces a fair bit of competition. Not just from the cafe next door, but from other food outlets close by.

Hm, this storefront looks the nicest of the lot IMHO. And they all look better than the ones I saw in the US. This is certainly true of the McDonalds shops in CH -- nicer decor, and even sometimes better items (I haven't had any, just looked at the menu to compare) than what was available in the US. I recall reading a piece about this, the different look and feel that the chains produce for different countries and cultures. Anyway, I think I've done off topic! Thank you for your comments at Villigen.
