What better mode of transport for bombing round the streets delivering pizzas and kebabs than this little Smartcar? Certainly beats having to ride a moped. Although neither vehicle is good for the environment. Maybe in the brave new world, home food deliveries will cease, or they'll be delivered by bicycle in specially insulated boxes. So you'll have to order earlier than normal.
Are Smartcars usd as "real" cars in the UK as they are in other parts of Europe? Here I've only ever seen them as delivery cars like this, or advertising.

ReplyDeleteI like these cars for this kind of work. I like your photograph of it too. They are being imported into this country but befoe they come in they have to be modified so they are more environment friendly. I think the selling price is over $15,000.00 US Dollars.

ReplyDeleteWhat a good idea. You get advertising while saving on gas. Also, I think they get around in traffic better than most cars ... I would think a smart car or a moped are better for the envioronment than a gas guzzler.
