Flowerpower
Highfields is quite famous for its large collection of rhodendrums. They have been there many years and so are hugh bushes. Here's a flower from one of the plants.
Rhodendrums are beautiful plants. I think I have bought dozens of them and planted them and enjoyed their beautiful blossoms one year or sometimes two and then the whole thing dies. I suspect it is because we have extremely cold winters here.
I like your photo of this plant and it reminds me of the bad luck I have had trying to grow it.
Your photo is very nice ... It may be silly of me however I was very impressed by today's photo of cheery blossoms by Irina in Moscow. I guess Moscow as too cold for flowers.
Thanks a lot for visiting and leaving a message. They are always welcome. Please mention my blog to all your friends and family and do pop by again very soon, as you will be made most welcome. Best wishes from Gailsman and Nottingham Daily Photo.
Beautiful flower - charming.
ReplyDeleteNice photo! The flowers are absolutely marvelous!
ReplyDeleteLovely. We don't have rhododendruns here, but they are up in the mountains to the north.
