None For Tea
A list has recently been compiled regarding the winners & losers during this bad weather. Obviously one of the winners have been umbrella sellers, while some of the losers have been tourist attractions, and as with this photo; cafe & restaurant owners. Here we see several empty chairs and tables, whereas if it was sunny, people would be sitting there eating snacks and drinking tea.

This is a real contrast to what I posted on Menton DP today. Am really sorry to read of the terrible floods in the Uk - and here we are just longing to rain and people dying in Hungary, Greece and Italy from the heat. The world is crazier than ever.
ReplyDeleteAs Jilly said, the world is crazier than ever. We are in a three month drought. I like your photo and can see the pavement is wet.
ReplyDeleteShame, isn't it? Where is summer when you need it?! Businesses are losing so much money when the weather's against them.

Wonderful photos but too bad that the weather stopped people from being not only in your photo but stopped them from enjoying a nice cafe.
