Newsflash

I'm interrupting our balloon flight over Nottingham with a news story. For the last few days, the Dalai Lama has been in the city giving a series of talks at the Ice Arena. Yesterday, there was a big demonstration in the Market Square, requesting him to stop lying about something aspect of Buddhism. I'm not sure what it is, but many people were there & it made the national news.

I still think this man is a genius and great and was surprised to see a crowd of more than one who apparently do not think so. It might be interesting to find out if the crowd are members of the "Flat Earth Society."

What an honour to have the 'Dalai Lama' in Nottingham. I would have loved to have shared a cuppa and chat with him.
Apparently some one from work saw him. His holiness stopped and asked him for directions.
No grand limo for his holiness, just his 2 feet, without the ice skates, I hasten to add.

  5. I agree with Abe. I can't imagine what he is "lying" about. I think he is the only )spiritual or any kind of) leader on the planet who has it all together.

Despite this, I like your photo of the demonstrators. I'm off to Google and see what happened.
