Spring Has Sprung

Hooray we have some sunshine today! Although still a bit windy. I hope the strong breeze doesn't blow all the cherry blossom off these trees in Highfields, as I think it makes for a very nice picture, complimented by the clumps of daffodils and the first lawn cut of the year.

Joy in Norwich has a similar shot. compare and enjoy.

  1. The gardners just came and did out lawn - chopping down the daisies in the process and the daffodils look very sorry now - our neighbour's cherry tree is not as bare as it was a week ago and will blossom maybe in a week or so.
It is still a very cold wind here.

I am with you. Spring needs to spring all over where it is past due. This is a nice photograph.

Everything looks so green in it.

Lovely cherry blossums! Ours are a little behind here, but I think I can get some shots this week.

  7. This is so pretty! I wish I was there! (We awoke to 3 inches of snow this AM- and not a flowering tree in sight!)
