This is a close up of the entrance to the Council House, where all the decisions, good and bad are made, that affect people that live in the city. You've seen the building before in previous postings, but today I thought I'd show you the Gothic style lights.
A photo a day from the famous East Midlands city, its surroundings, and wherever the photographic journey takes me.

The symetry and lines in this phot are incredible. Really really nice shot. Thanks for sharing it.
ReplyDeleteInteresting details around us often get taken for granted. There is always something to discover.
ReplyDeleteI've always wondered what "lighting up time" and the publication of times was all about. Was it to do with war and post-war rationing and official times you were allowwed to turn light son? Or older - when the gas man would go round turning on the gas lights?
