The Wollaton Park Chainsaw Massacre
Here is post 300, and what better way to celebrate the milestone with a photo of some performance art. Richard Janes is the guy wielding the chainsaw and turning this big tree stump into a work of art. I don't know what the finished sculpture will look like, or where it will be going. But if you have a big enough garden...

I have seen some chain saw art that is nice to look at. But then I hate to think that a tree lost its life to a chain saw. It is a living thing that can sense life around it. I have hope that this tree was already dead when the man began to cut the stump.
