Worn away by the salty sea air, this wooden reminder of an earlier time stands and watches the tide ebb and flow. Dogs and small children run around its base, and the odd seagull will perch on its head. How many more years will it look out to sea?
A photo a day from the famous East Midlands city, its surroundings, and wherever the photographic journey takes me.
