Down Mexico Way
Beeston became alive with the sound of trumpets this morning as another local band took to the stage in the square to entertain the shoppers. They played a number of tunes in the Tijuana style. Even the sun came out to add to the Mexican mix. Here's a clip featuring the music of Herb Alpert, which gives you an idea of the style they were playing today.

Herb Alpert is and was one of my favorites. His music kept me going many days and nights when I was working on books or the business and trying to feed 7 souls. A never ending job. And who would have guessed we would make it to here? LOL
ReplyDeleteIt is hard, by the way, to get details in the faces of people wearing hats and these large hats cast more shade than small ones so I was almost stunned to see the details in the faces.
And the sun even came out, to add to it! :-)
