For some reason this old city centre pub was flying the skull & crossbones. I didn't know if they were running a pirate night, or going in for some smuggling, to dodge paying the taxman.
A photo a day from the famous East Midlands city, its surroundings, and wherever the photographic journey takes me.

Wonder if they will be asked to tkae it down. Isn't there some law against flying a flag that isn't the Union Flag or something? It's only the Union Jack at sea, that I know. I prefer the smugglers theory. Salutations to you to.
