I'm Just A Jeep'ster For Your Love

For some reason there were these three American army Jeeps parked in the Market Square. There were no banners explaining why they were there, and they didn't seem to be attracting much attention from the passers by. But they make for an interesting photograph.

  1. Nice one, the middle Jeep is marked up with the Pegasus, and the two guys in uniform are dressed as Paras so perhaps there was a local Para re-union?

American jeeps is why I came after seeing the thumbnail on the portal. I thought there would be an explanation but upon arrival I found you are also having a problem in knowing why they are parked there. I am surprised they are not attracting lots of attention as those days of Americans all over the place are probably or should be over.

  4. Yes, probably a re-union as moutainboy said. We had so many Wilyx (spelling?) jeeps in India, but I don't see them anymore. An India company called Mahindra and Mahindra started making jeeps. Now M&M is going to make 4-wheel drives that look close to Hummers. Hope to post a photo when they start selling.
