Stretching A Point
I think we're all quite familiar with seeing stretch limos on the road these days. Where they are used for hen nights, stag do's or just for people to show off in. I went to a classic car show on Sunday at Wollaton Park and besides the old vehicles, were some new models; including this stretch Range Rover.
4 x 4's have been nicknamed 'Chelsea Tractors' as people drive around London in them, although they should only really be used in the countryside. I can't imagine this being driven around the fields of Yorkshire though.

Bugger, I meant to go to that car show on Saturday - love seeing the old cars. Any idea when the next show's on mate?
ReplyDeleteThis is very entertaining post.
ReplyDeleteChelsea Tractor? Hahaha I never heard of that one before.
As for the limo... well I like them but this one...I think I will go on my own car..lol
How big is the gas tank?
ReplyDeleteChelsea Tractors are alive and kicking here, but usually confined to the quieter lanes. We do have a couple of limos for hen nights, but compared to the UK, the island's are quite sedate affairs.
ReplyDeleteHow did you get a photo of my car?!
ReplyDeleteI've never seen a stretch Range Rover but we have seen a few stretch Hummer lately which is all very exciting for the kids but a bit of a worry for the world.
ReplyDeleteIt's really rather gross, isn't it? Like Rose, I laughed at the Chelsea Tractor.
