It's All In The Angles
If you're ever stuck for a home, but have an odd shaped piece of land available, then you can build yourself a house like this example on the Ropewalk. Not sure if I could live in it, as there's hardly a straight wall in sight. But it's home to someone, and I'm sure they are very happy there..

It might be a very nice place to live. It looks odd on the outside and like something an architecture student design but it might be fun.
ReplyDeleteI know the first house my wife and I lived in we owned and it had been a blacksmith shop for ages and the builder couldn't get the thing to set back upright and straight on the new foundation so the whole building leaned to the right. That was odd to see everything inside cut at an angle.
Very cool. I like the idea of designing my own house. This just shows anything is possible.
ReplyDeleteAre those solar panels on the side?
ReplyDeleteLooks most unusual.
It's like a Mondrian painting.
