A Rather Tyred Sign

I remember seeing this sign ever since I began working in the Lace Market many moons ago. I have no idea how long the company had occupied the two floors of the building on Stoney Street. I know that the company is long gone & the building now belongs to Trent University, where one of their art departments is now situated.
