Here's the Trip to Jerusalem pub, lit up on a dark, rainy night. It is reputed to be the oldest pub in England. But hopefully the beer and food they sell is ultra fresh!
A photo a day from the famous East Midlands city, its surroundings, and wherever the photographic journey takes me.

Oh! I went in there nearly 40 years ago! Isn't it the place that goes into a sort of cave at the back?
ReplyDeleteThat is how my world (drunken)looks at the moment. Parisian overtones and fiery tones. I really like this, especially the path leading you into the image and all the way to the pub.
ReplyDeleteHoping to visit Nottingham at the end of the year - must put this on the list of places to visit, looks wonderful. Great photo. Linda
ReplyDeleteYe Olde Trip to Jerusalem is a great place! Had their "house bitter." Very good. Wonderful place to sit and relax - a good portion of the establishment is carved into the rock cliff..Be sure to ask someone if they can show you the cellars where they keep the beer kegs...
ReplyDeleteEnjoy!
