Gail and I went for another balloon ride this evening. This is the second one that we have been on, as we went on our first a couple of years ago. A special deal came on Groupon recently, and as we both enjoyed the original experience, we decided to book another.
Although we took off near the city centre, the racecourse to be exact, the wind took us in the opposite direction. Gail and I were a tad disappointed at this, as we were both looking forward to flying over the Old Market Square, the Theatre Royal etc. It would have been quite exciting to see these landmarks from the air. Still, you can never predict the way that the wind will be blowing.
