Blooming Marvellous

Early this morning, the clocks went forward an hour and it is officially the first day of summer. It is living up to its name, as it is warm and sunny and a cloud free sky. Today also marks the second birthday of Nottingham Daily Photo. This is my 306th posting, and it is one of the many plants that are coming out of hibernation in our garden.

  1. Well done on making it two years. Yes the clocks went forward and the sun is shining although it feels a bit cold and blustery still. My internet connection has finally speeded up after recent troubles, so lets all look forward to a bit of summer.

I posted a single daffodil to mark my first year of posting and in 10 days time HydeDP will be two too.

  2. Congrats on making it to two years. Our daffodils are still many weeks away from blooming. Snow must clear first.
So I bought a bunch to support the Canadian Cancer Society.

It was lovely today in Cheltenham, warm and sunny. Our daffs seem to be going over! Typical!

Daffodils are one of my favorite flowers! Maybe because they mean spring is finally here.
