The Nottingham Eye as its now called is still attracting the punters. I am still pondering whether to go on it or not. Yesterday wasn't very nice, so I had a wander around the Castle. More on that tomorrow. As I was leaving, I got another different view of the main attraction.
A photo a day from the famous East Midlands city, its surroundings, and wherever the photographic journey takes me.

Really gorgeous photo, it has a real 70's vintage feel to it. Great composition and I think b&w is a clever choice.
ReplyDeleteThere are some great points around the city to see the Eye. Walking down Derby Road and seeing it framed between the buildings towards the square is one. Another great vantage point is up on North Sherwood Street surprisingly.
ReplyDeleteTry it. It's a decent fiver's worth for a unique view of the city (well probably until next year that is...).
Thats a Pearler of a shot GailsMan.
ReplyDeleteThink of the great photos you would get if you went on it.
ReplyDeleteGo on! Give it a go and tell us what it's like. Can't remember the last time I was on a wheel...
