As part of the St Patrick's Day celebrations, a procession went through the city centre. I was just lucky enough to catch the tail end of it. This pony and trap was about the last in the line. I wonder if the girl is on the phone to her dad, and telling him to walk a bit faster?
A photo a day from the famous East Midlands city, its surroundings, and wherever the photographic journey takes me.

How To Hold The Traffic Up With Style

Time. People waste it in so many other ways, this should have been a pleasure for everyone. Something different and certainly a throwback to the good old days. What an excellent photograph.

ReplyDeleteWell photographed. There's nothing like a parade.
ReplyDeletehow odd to be on the cell phone while in a parade? I find that kind of annoying.
ReplyDeleteShouldn't you be fully present, enjoying yourself and the people around you? Tsk, tsk!
