Peek-a-Boo
I went down to Greenwich on business today & had a most enjoyable time. I wondered what I could put on for SWF this week, as my introduction last week seemed to go down well with you all.
How can I follow it? Well I thought I'd put the O2 Dome on peeking behind some flats & houses.
Not a very sunny day today, but click here to see some blue skies from across the globe.

I just looked at this and realized those things sticking up are holding cables that are holding up the roof. I guess that is what an architect gets paid for. It sure makes a nice SWF post.
ReplyDeleteMy Sky Watch Friday blog is at my Canon Pixels blog. If you have time I would appreciate your having a look at the sky peeking through the oak tree leaves.
That looks like an interesting place. That is an interesting building design.
ReplyDeleteLooks pretty neat and rainy
ReplyDeleteWhat a different-looking building! My first thought was someone is trying to contact someone out in space, but I suppose Abraham is correct that they're cables holding up the roof.
ReplyDeleteHappy Sky Watch!
I had a thought but lost it when I read Abe's comment...but this reminded me of something totally different till I lost my train of though. I will try to come back later and see if it hits me again...
ReplyDeleteHey, Gailsman. Have a great day in the UK. I'm a rhyming fool, aren't I?
ReplyDeleteVery nice - gray. Didn't think it got quite that gray over there!
ReplyDeleteThat is quite an interesting building. Here's to sunny skies for you!
ReplyDeleteSometimes the skies that aren't so blue are the most interesting. Like yours.
ReplyDeleteOh the white elephant! No it's the dome, but you know what I mean. Certainly the most original choice this week and uder such a natural British sky too.
ReplyDeleteInteresting shot, but I really don't like that building, its worse than the London Eye.
ReplyDeleteWhat an interesting building - I don't mind it - adds a different silhouette on the skyline.
ReplyDeleteA very interesting and unusual sight! I like your picture!
ReplyDeleteIt was that it looked like a giant pin cushion...followed by some kind of caterpillar crawling along...you know the kind with spines...
