Dreaming Spires
This is Corpus Christi College. Even though it was raining, I was determined to take a photo of at least one of the colleges. I think CC is about the most famous one in Cambridge, and is over 650 years old.
I'm not bright enough to study there. But I'm pretty good at riding a bike and Cambridge is full of them. It's not a car friendly town, so it seems the humble bicycle is the best way of getting about.

A brilliant, educational snap indeed! But remember, none of those "smartie pants" at Corpus Christi College has such a cooool CDP blog as you! So there!

Many many years ago, when I worked in Newmarket, I used to visit Cambridge a lot, really enjoyed the days there.
ReplyDeleteIt always made me grin when I used to see the pile of bikes all in a row, always wondered how they managed if their bike were in the middle??
Nice shot too GM.
And did you go to Bing's Bollege, Bambridge?
ReplyDeleteAll the best from me at Sydney Daily Photo. I’m so busy with a new job I hardly have time to post, much less comment these days!
Here's to cities that aren't car friendly. We need more of these. I too was in Cambridge recently with some Belgian friends. They loved it.
ReplyDeleteI can't get over how green the grass is!
