This cat has been visiting us everyday for the past few weeks. I'm not that fond of cats for various reasons, so I've done nothing to encourage these visits.
Mostly he likes to sit on our front mat in the sun. Yesterday morning he was stretched out under the bush getting a bit of a tan. By the time I had gone in for my camera he had got up and wanted to see what I was doing.
They are good at eating birds, young rabbits and chipmunks. At least they do that over here. Our one daughter had 11 outside cats and had them all fixed at $150.00 each and now 8 have been killed by automobiles. But they kill all of those things and bring them to the door to show my daughter. So we have tried to encourage her not to replace the ones that were killed. Nature can't stand that for very long. I forget but the numbers of songbirds killed by feral cats is astronomical.
