I think it is a lovely building. When will the city planners realise their error by pulling down and replacing with buildings that are even made in reasonable materials.
ReplyDeleteYep, noticed that building is coming down when I was walking home from watching Notts last week. More apartments are going there apparantly, not that appartments are in demand. There are loads of flats in my building empty!
ReplyDeleteThat could be converted into some really posh flats in no time.
ReplyDeleteWhat a shame. I really like Victorian buildings. This one has a lot of character. I agree with eric that it could be converted into flats instead of building new ones.
ReplyDeleteCan't quite figure out from the picture where that one is - is it near the station or on Canal Street?
ReplyDeleteThis makes my blood boil. Nothing at all wrong with this building, so much potential. Presume another car park will take it's place, or flats that no one can afford.
ReplyDeleteThat is so sad. It could be made into something marvelous- cool apartments or quirky stores... such a shame.
