Are Those Irish Eyes Smiling?
There was a very good turn out yesterday for St Patrick's Day. A shame that it was so dull and chilly. Still everyone seemed to be having a good time, even those that like me aren't from the Emerald Isle. I took several photos, and thought this one sums up the day quite well.

He certainly looks the part and what a happy chappy he is. I wonder if he has green eyes? Do you have green beer in England like they do in Oz and the US for the special day? Linda
ReplyDeleteLooks like he's having a great time. No good asking if you had a Guinness yesterday...St. Patrick's Day is always the best fun with or without the demon drink.
ReplyDeleteGreat shot GM.
ReplyDeletewe seem to celebrate St Patrick more then we do our St George.
Dont know where I came across you but couldn't help visiting as youre only just down the roas. Nice blog, better pictures than mine!
ReplyDeleteIt looks like he enjoyed himself!
ReplyDeleteThat's a great honest portrait. A face that tells so many stories.
ReplyDeleteGreat snap GM!
ReplyDeleteMaybe England should do more to celebrate St. George's Day. I dare say if they included an alcohol theme then it would become very popular! Tetley's instead of Guiness maybe?!
