A photo a day from the famous East Midlands city, its surroundings, and wherever the photographic journey takes me.

The Road To Nowhere
Here's a shot of the road that I took whilst Gail was driving her beloved Mini. We weren't going anywhere in particular. Just cruising around whilst the sun was setting. It's harder to do these days with the price of petrol. Fortunately Gail's Mini uses diesel, so we can go a bit further for the same price.

It sure looks like an industrial area and the softest things are the clouds. Nice picture.
ReplyDeletePetrol....that would be 'gas'....right? I just love the language. The price of gas rises and falls here for no apparent reason. We purchas it by the gallon....but I found out when we visited Spain that we purchased it by the liter....Yeee Gads!!!....such a price difference. Made me want to walk!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photo...lovely sunset. I love sunsets...I love taking photos....and you did a great job...
