A photo a day from the famous East Midlands city, its surroundings, and wherever the photographic journey takes me.
A seen across many British towns - workman stood contemplating and scratching their heads!
ReplyDeleteGreat picture! It's nice to know some things are the same the world over--if I had a penny for every time I saw workmen standing around looking puzzled, I'd own Blogger by now. :)

I like the way you have made everything black and white except the important stuff, excellent!

ReplyDeleteGreat how you've used the selective coloring. Very neat!
ReplyDeletehe he they do. I like the way you have isolated the yellow. Very effective.
ReplyDeletehands-in-pocket is clearly thinking "oh not again" - I love the jeweller's clock, the squiggly grafitti and miss pony-tail with her ear glued to her mobile
ReplyDelete"it's gonna cost ya!"
ReplyDeleteSorry, I disagree... they are not the least bit puzzled by the Beacon's current angle of repose... because they are not thinking about it at all just then. That is because they are totally distracted by the pretty young lady walking by. That beacon could be a talking giraffe, and they would not be paying any attention just then. :D
ReplyDeleteThanks,
Wayne
Looks a bit like a lance to me :)
