Here's a photo of the Portland Building of Nottingham University. Not one of my best, due to a bit of camera shake. I had left my trusty Gorillapod at home. But it still gives a good impression of what the building is like in the darkness.
A photo a day from the famous East Midlands city, its surroundings, and wherever the photographic journey takes me.

ReplyDeleteAh, a Gorillapod fan - I'm thinking of asking for one for Christmas, but a friend of mine said she was disappointed with hers and didn't rate it very much. I take it you don't agree?

That's actually the Trent Building. The Portland Building is nowhere near as impressive or visible, but it does have a nice ballroom.
ReplyDeleteI agree with mattw, this looks like the Trent Building. Thank you for reminding me of my year in Nottingham (I was a lectrice at the University and lived in Beeston). It's always nice to compare my memories from 4 years ago with more up-to-date images!
