Frozen Assets
No more snow yesterday, but very cold. That didn't deter a big demonstration in the Market Square against the council's plan to get rid of 400 employees. The council recently lost £42million in the Icelandic bank farce, and so they are having to try to make drastic savings. And of course the workers are the first to feel the pinch.

It's happening all over the world, even MOnaco. Nice-Matin on many days shows demonstrations like this because one or other factory is closing down. Monaco has a lot of small factories.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for info. I left a response on MC DP.
It should be the councillors and finance advisors that get the push first!
