It absolutely threw it down at lunchtime today. I ran for cover, as I didn't want my camera to drown with the amount of water falling. So I stood in a shop doorway and took some pictures of the poor people running for cover. Normally this paved street is teeming with pedestrians. But not today!
A photo a day from the famous East Midlands city, its surroundings, and wherever the photographic journey takes me.

Just running in the rain, just running in the rain!
ReplyDeleteI love photos taken in the rain and this is super. Not that I like rain, mind you - well in moderation for the land. Nice shot. There's a car for you on MC today, Gailsman.
ReplyDeleteIts terrible having a camera when it rains, esp if the camera is a biggy one.lol.
ReplyDeleteI saw people from Cumbria who said they got soaked or were getting soaked. I even looked at The Oasis in Washington to see if there was any water there. But of course, Google Earth only takes pictures in perfect weather.
ReplyDeletesuper ug indeed - you can see the water bouncing off the pavement.
