Blowing In The Wind
Blimey it was windy today. And rainy. Think it rained all last night. The good old British summer is well and truly over. Trying to walk against the wind at lunchtime, some pieces of newspaper flew past me. Looking around I saw these pages from a newspaper having a dance in the breeze. I think it's an edition of the Sun or the Daily Mirror, if you were wondering.

It has been rough to say the least! I'm organising our community Fete on Saturday, keep your fingers crossed for dry weather. I don't mind cloud - I just want it dry!
ReplyDeleteKeep doing wonderful work.
ReplyDeletepretty horrible weather here too - we keep getting short spells of hot sun and then it buckets down like ***** again.
ReplyDeleteI used to run a construction business in the UK and one of the reasons I shut it down was spending all day on-site in the English weather! I did my Masters degree in Nottingham, so I'm glad I found your blog. Will visit with interest!
ReplyDeletePaper chase my friend, you were playing.lol
ReplyDeleteThere's a deep, ironic, philosophical comment somewhere in my head to do with the Sun blowing in the wind as winter approaches... I just can't think what it is.
ReplyDeleteAnd it doesn't work of course, if it's the Recorder or the Daily Mirror (although, on reflection...)
