Tide's Out

The rides are down, the sand is back on the truck. Yes at long last the Nottingham Riviera has closed for the season. It's strange how quickly the novelty wears off and how much people want things back to normal. Trouble is, it's coming back next year.

There's a cooking festival on all week next week. I'm looking forward to seeing what's on offer, both for my eyes and my stomach.

Wow. It looks a muddy place at the moment.

No persons were around because it was taken on Sunday morning. The bars were all closed until about Noon.

The bloody riviera's coming back next year? Why?

Opinions soon on private profit from the use of public space.... How ethical is that?

Look forward to the cooking pics.

Alan a dale is going on about private profit again re the Mellors group and yet says nothing about the private profit of individual contributors at the cooking festival or the "paid celebrities"I believe that are going...he looks forward to the cooking pics.
It begs the question... possible private/personal but mainly public petty "bee in the bonnet" syndrome.
