Gail and I went for a meal last night after Brian's funeral. As you can see I had fish and chips (fries), while Gail had a beef and ale pie. I was so taken with the unusual presentation, that I just had to take a photograph. The chips in their own little fryer, a tiny jam jar of tartare sauce, another small jar of mushy peas and all served with a very tasty piece of fish on a wooden board, rather than a plate. Yum, yum!
well thats real fish and chips...good sized fish too..probably haddock asits england
ReplyDeleteand probably the chips dont taste like cardboard as they do at mcdonalds
ReplyDeleteJust like the battle for the top chef on TV.
ReplyDeleteThat is a delightful presentation, which mom always says is ninety percent of a meal. But is that really pureed garden peas? Is that a popular way of eating them where you live?
ReplyDeleteoooh GM. you are getting adventurous. looks good enough to eat, as they say.
