I've just finished reading the latest book by film director and well known food critic Michael Winner. It's more stories about his clashes with move stars and reviews (not always kind) for the Sunday Times of some of the best hotels and restaurants in the world. His most famous film is Death Wish, although he has made many since then, but none after about 1999. Although he did make some TV adverts for an insurance company a few years ago with the catch phrase "Calm down dear, it's only a commercial. He is often outspoken about things, which doesn't always go down well in certain quarters, but his books are a good read, and full of famous names that he has worked with. I follow his Twitter page, which is always amusing to read, just like his books.
