Fire Heroes

Here's the monument for the fallen firemen that Princess Anne unveiled yesterday.

There was nobody around today, and the awning had been taken away, so I was able to take a clear shot of the obelisk.

There are a lot of names scribed on the sides you that you cannot see, but I thought this side looks better, as there is a 'for sale'   on one of the buildings opposite, and that would have certainly spoilt the shot.
