In The Frame

How many of you can remember the old riddle about when is a door, not a door?
All together now - "When it's ajar"!
This door wasn't ajar, but it is in serious need of a lick of paint. I think it is going to get one shortly, as it looks like someone has been busy scraping away the old layers.

Who want's to take a guess at what colour it is going to be?

  1. I don't mean to be out of the blue, but I think it's oging to be red, or green lol.

  2. There's something about a door, natural like this - alright it needs proper sanding down and finishing with linseed oil or I suppose a wood preservative, so it would be nice to think it doesn't get painted but I guess it will. I'll guess ... dark blue.

  4. It's a handsome old door with lots of character and history. A coat of paint will certainly change the look!

  7. I think it will be painted a dark blue and it would be nice to have a pot of winter pansies beside the door.
    Have a good weekend

I would hope for a teal or a turquoise. Although dark green is also appealing, or apple red.
